Default login / MySQL Server stuff

I am trying to set up a login system on my new website hosting, i am very new to this so i decided to do it in dreamweaver which is supposed to be straight forward. I have set up a database in MYSQL and phpmyadmin

To connect to my data base that I have created in MYSQL and PHPmyadmin, my wizard in dreamweaver is asking for these details......

    Connection Name....(no idea)

    MYSQL Server.....(no idea)

user name.....(is this the database user name or ukhost username?)

password.....(is this the database user name or ukhost username?)

    database...... (i know this)

what would the connection name and MYSQL server look like? and example (but not a real one) would be great then I'd proberly be able to find them

It should be as follows :-

    Connection Name....anything

    MYSQL Server.....87.117.234.120

    user name.....si****_admin

password.....password of the database username you had added from cp

    database...... si****_test

Make sure that you visit http:// whatismyip.com and add your IP address in the access host section of MySQL section. You will find it just above the PhpMyAdmin link. If you dont add your IP to the allowed list then you wotn be able to connect to your MySQL database from DreamWeaver.

I wonder if there are any tutorials for dummies and absulte beginers that explains how to make a login and registration system for a website hosting and how make the database in MySQL Server and connect to it. I think this is way out of my range, I need dummy instructions, anyone know of any simple tutorials? I would be most greatful

don't put anything for the host directory. don't get defeated so soon as this could be your last chance to make your mark in webmasters world.

Use google to find some help. Go through Tutorials located at http://eukhost.com/support/. I am not sure why any of our existing customers are not getting over here to help you.

I am really uncomfortable with web development

    CMS = Content Management System.

You have different CMS softwares included in Fantastico. Take a look at various CMS available with Fantastico

Joomla or Mabo should be perfect for you. You can make a professional website hosting using Joomla or Mambo.
