Deleting the emails in cPanel

Hi,

I have few email accounts that I created using cPanel. I use Outlook to send and receive my emails for one of email account. Not sure what went wrong, but now my emails are downloaded after every minute. Seems like there is some improper setting; the number of emails I received last night was more than 1000. I really cannot read each of them. Is there any way to delete all these emails automatically? Is there any command to do so? because if I do it through Webmail, it will take a longtime.

To reduce the download time for the email account, try changing the limit at Tools >> Options >> General >> Check for new messages very 30 minutes (you can change the limit as per your convenience/requirement) in your Outlook.

You can delete the emails using a command only if you have shell access to the server. If you want us to delete the emails, send an email at support[@]eukhost.com and let us know which emails should be deleted for the email account. Yes, deleting emails from webmail will take time, but deleting the emails yourself from webmail (as you know the exact emails to be deleted) will reduce the hassle
