Default Do you know about FFA Sites?

Being in this field since last 2 years, I have never heard about the FFA sites. What are the FFA sites and how can we get traffic through these sites?

FFA Sites are "Free For All" sites. They have been in existence since around 1995. These are pages with the sole purpose of listing links. Practically anyone can post their "ad" on these pages for free. Where the owner of the site doesn't monitor the submissions, (an awesome for spammers) :P

Yes, so better to avoid such waste resource because that's not the smart way to get backlink/traffic.

these are the sites in which you can add your link without any cost and without giving them any link back (reciprocal link).

The owner of such sites generally earn revenues by accepting ads for anything, once you try to navigate the pages it'll start showing a series of pop-ups. The FFA site owner doesn't monitor the link submission, if you submit your link to FFA sites, it will reside at bad neighborhood from where very undesirable content are being displayed. FFA sites were popular in 90's because buying/selling links were not scrutinized those days and Google algorithm was not that much intelligent.

I agree with Paul, it is same like FREE Webhosting industry, it was on high few years back but it seems to have gone down a bit now as current webhosting companies offer professional hosting at very low cost hence people prefer to pay some amount rather than going for a free hosting package... and incase if they want to have a free space then they prefer to have it with someone like, Live, Yahoo or Rediff...

So it all changes with time..
