    Default .UK Domain Renewal

It turns out a domain of mine expired on 29th April and I had no idea about this. Now, I need to get this domain back, what are my avenues of choice?

You can retrieve the domain name from deletion by contacting your registrar within the redemption period ( 30 days days after expiry) which will cost you an additional fees.

Redemption period lasts 30 days plus 5 days "freeze" period after which the domain is released back for registration. Please note that domain names released after the "freeze" period are generally "snapped" by speculators so if your name is precious you should make sure to either renew it at the most or restore it while it is in redemption status.

If you're setting up your online business I think you should better contact your tax consultant because tax law vary from country to country.

All our prices are inclusive of VAT, current VAT rate in UK is 15%.
