    Question Mailboxs

Hi all, wonder if anyone can help
I have an email account on one of my domains, if i login via webmail it shows no emails, drafts, trash or anything (which is what I expect). However when I look at the email accounts listing in cpanel it shows that account using over 10Mb of space??? What is using the space and how can I free it up?
    TIA

    Hello David,

We manually need to check the disk usages for the email account. Can you please just provide us the email address or drop an email to vps [@] eukhost.com so that our admin will check it for you.

    Hi David,

Web Mail comes with four standard email folders: Inbox, Sent, Drafts and Trash. To these folders you can add your own hierarchy of folders, and even put folders inside other folders.

It seems that the settings in the Special Folder Options for the email account are set incorrect. Please login to your webmail and check the settings for these folders under the "Option Tab" from the navigation bar, then click on Folder Preferences. Under the " Special Folder Options ", make sure you have the same folder name selected from the drop down menu and it is not selected as - Do not use ' folder name'.

If still that does not fix the issue, please PM me your email address and password or contact our support team on Live Chat for further assistance.
    Best Regards,

    Bryan Oscar

    Hello David,

I have checked the disk usages for account "david at itinuk dot com" and the ".spam" folder is using "13MB" of disk usages.
Please follow the procedure provide by Bryan and check for the spam folder in the webmail and if you still face any problem just PM the login details, I will check it for you or contact on Live Chat for further assistance.

    Hi
I've checked the webmail setting as described by Bryan and all appears ok. Special folders are as expected and there are no subfolders or anything like that.

I think that once upon a time Spam box may have been enabled (rather than spam assasin auto delete). It's not enabled now, but maybe it's left behind a spam box that I can't get to????

    Hello David,

Should I proceed further and delete that spam folder from the account.
