Default Not able to connect via SSH

I am not able to connect via ssh to my backup plan.

It doesn't seem to recognise my username.

    I get the following:

    ssh eukrus1@myftp/ssh
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

    sftp myftp/ssh
    Connecting to myftp/ssh...
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote hostCouldn't read packet: Connection reset by peer

How do I know if my backup plan is set up for ssh? Is there a certain port I need to use?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Russel..

to Eukhost community forums. The username you're using is incorrect, please use "eukrusl", it's a small L in the end & not "1"

The SSH port is default (22). Please let us know if you continue to face any problems accessing your backup account..

    Default Still the same

    Hi

I changed to using the correct username i.e.

    ssh eukrusl@78.129.128.15
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

Still the same respose from the remote host. What could be the problem your end? Is ther some kind of permissions which need to be activated to allow ssh access?

    Thanks

    Russel

    Default Same problem

I am still getting the same result.

    I am typing "ssh eukrusl@78.129.128.15"

the response I get is "ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host"

I am sure there must be some kind of setting to get this to function correctly. I hope you can help me.

    Thanks

    Hi Russ,

Could you try again? We've added your local IP address to the allow list on the server.
