Cloud Computing and Utility Computing
Since I have been into online business, I have heard about Cloud hosting, Cluster & Grid Computing, but this is a new term for me. Utility Computing, What is it? Is Cloud Computing different from Utility Computing or are they both same?
In same way, what does these terms indicate in Computing - Palm Computing, Parallel Computing, DNA Computing, Optical Computing and Java Web Computing.

Utility computing is basically a union of all the resources of computing which includes storage, services and computation. The cost of this solution is very less initially as the resources are metered. Utility computing further developed and was formed into Cloud computing and Software as a Service.

Utility computing basically describes the treating of various computing services as a utility which can be easily delivered similar to your household requirements. It offers simplicity for management and allows you to turn ON, turn OFF or even manage its increase or decrease as per requirements might be. This has been possible due to some highly effective CPU virtualisation techniques that allow the management of virtual CPU's.
