    Hello,

Please accept my sincere apologies for the delayed reply.

No, I have not made it 64 bit compatible however, will try to get this working on 64bit machine as soon as I get some spare time.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Default 64-Bit

Thank you very much Martin, if you need we can make the changes and make them available to the comunity, just upload the code to the sourceforge project and we can make a version for 64 bit.

    Regards

    Hello,

Yes that would be very helpful, I will upload the source code for you to make changes. In fact, there is not need to make any changes in the source, I just have to recompile the executable to run on a 64 bit machine.

How we can now the IP address of any incoming spam email and block that IP address so that the person can never email us.

Every Windows Version has its own Firewall which can be modified according to user preferences.

You must locate those settings and choose "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security". In there you should be able to locate a radio button titled as "Custom", after clicking it you should be able to add a particular IP that you wish to block.

But the discussion that is going on in this thread is about blocking IP's on Windows server. You may wish to open a new thread to discuss on the topic of blocking IP's in Windows 7 that is installed on your local machine.

    Question QaaSWall Source

Does anyone know if the source of the brilliant QaaSWall is still available and how to get a copy?

I’ve tried using TortoiseHG (Mercurial) to clone the source from SourceForge but this just obtains an “empty” folder structure without any source code. And, the file qaaswall-window.tar.gz appears to be empty. (Sorry, cannot give the URLs as I'm a new user here).

    Thanks.

Not having heard from Martin or anyone else, I’m flagging up the question of availability of the QaaSWall source once again. Does anyone know if the QaaSWall project is still going, or has Martin abandoned it?

    Hello All,

Please accept my sincere apologies for not replying you all in time. I use to be a Windows Administrator when I started this project and it was an automation of the manual process that I had with me. I was then moved to a different department and had other priorities with me hence could not contribute to the project. There has been many requests coming in for the source but due my busy schedule I could hardly reply anyone.

Anyways I have now upload the source at Source Forge.

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/qaaswall-window/files/

For any more queries please email me on martin [at] eukhost.com, I will try and get back as soon as possible.

    Cheers,

    Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks for the source Martin, I am sure everyone is very grateful for the time and effort you put into this. But as you must have realised by now, when you become a super-star your fans will always want a little more! To burden you a bit further, can you say which utility program you used to create the .EXE and .DLL from the original .BAT files – presumably not IExpress?

    Hello,

Want to use qaaswall to protect again ddos attack, i try to install it on a win server 2008 R2 64 bits. At the first boot, qaaswall say that the qsplit is not compatible with 64b system. The source doesn't include source file as programming C, ++, .net, other.

    The question is :
What the goal of this qslit executable ?
How to replace this and by what ?
Is possible to have the source code and not just a decompiled installer ?
I see in script IP 10.10.10.3 (i think), what is it ? Must be replaced by an ip of control's machine ?

    Thx in advance,
    kkZ
